According to UK law, all Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council, (HCPC). This ensures that patients are protected and that registered professionals meet the national requirements expected. The UK also has a minimum requirement of a Foundation Degree in Hearing Aid Technology in order to legally dispense hearing aids.
At The Hearing Clinic, Henley, our Audiologists are educated to a minimum of Masters degree level, and have spent many years enriching their specialist training and development by working across a variety of settings including hospitals, speech and hearing centres, educational institutions and private practices.
We are also registered with the HCPC and are members of the British Academy of Audiology, (BAA), the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, (BSHAA) and the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals, (AIHHP).
